"I was planning my wife's 40th Birthday party,
and she wanted something very fun, but also mature.
A good friend found Obivia online, and suggested that
I check it out. I visited several other places before
stopping by Obivia, and once I entered and met
Clare I knew that it was the place for me. Clare
worked with me to find the right room and night,
helped make suggestions regarding food and drinks, and generally handled everything from top to bottom. Most reassuringly, she was at my wife's party, overseeing several people who handled food, drinks, music and the door. I only had to talk to her and she handled the rest. Clare and her staff also kept me in the loop with what drinks were needed, what food was a hit, and what my running bill was whenever I requested it.
"I had not one single complaint, and importantly, my wife had the most fun that I have seen in years. Several friends told us that it was the best party they have ever been to, and one set of friends are planning on having their party there in the fall. The only downside was that the party had to end!
"Being busy working parents, getting out is tough. But Obivia is now our new place when we can get out because we find that the atmosphere is the best we have found in the City."

"I had a party at Obivia and I wanted to express how terrific the staff was. The party was scheduled as a 30th birthday party for my girlfriend and a surprise engagement party (I proposed - successfully - earlier that day). So as you can imagine, it was a pretty big day and extremely important to me that things went smoothly.
"From the moment I first spoke to Clare Mione, the event planner, about holding the party at Obivia until approximately 3 a.m Saturday when I closed out my tab, she was outstanding. She was friendly, helpful, professional, and fun. Pre-party, she took me through the space, answered every question, and helped plan the menu. On Saturday night, everything went exactly as she had said it would.
"Equally, our waitress for the evening, Michelle, was perfect: Friendly, fun, always available. A friend brought a cake, and Michelle stored it for us, then later brought it out with candles lit, then returned with the cake sliced for everyone to enjoy. She was equally helpful throughout the evening.
"Finally, the food was great, and the other staff members that delivered the food were fast, efficient, friendly and contributed to the enjoyment of the evening. "I celebrated my 31st birthday here and I am so very happy that I did. Upon entering Obivia you are greeted by the nicest and most pleasant hostesses. I had a table with a champagne bottle waiting for me. The waitress was very nice and so patient with everyone. She really made it a pleasure to be there. I was also greeted by the private event planner who helped me book a table for the party. Not only was she the nicest person on the phone, but she was just as nice in person too. All in all I have to say that the staff at Obivia is great and the drinks were good, too. My guests and I had a wonderful time and will most definitely do it again!!"

I would recommend this bar to anyone and look forward to going there again.
